Jon Kostal, Jr.

Jon Kostal, Jr. received his Masters and Bachelors degree in music at Eastern Illinois University.  He grew up in Westmont, attending Westmont High, Jr. High, and Manning School.  He has always been involved in music and the arts.  Since attending EIU, Jon has taught private lessons, classes and workshops in numerous instruments.  He has performed and led many musical groups including Ice Cream Vendors and The Astronauts.  He currently plays in The Flat Cats, a swing jazz band that performs all around the Chicagoland area.  He has worked in the retail music industry for over 7 years and is eager to share his experience and knowledge with you.
