FREE one year guitar service plan
Any guitar
purchased at Uncle Jon's Music as of April 2008 includes a
free one year service plan.
Uncle Jon's Music sells only quality instruments that have
proven to be reliable, durable, playable, and musical. Each
guitar we sell is inspected by our team of guitar technicians
to insure that it is set up to factory specifications.
Very often we see guitars brought in to us that are fine
instruments rendered unplayable simply by a lack of
maintenance and adjustment. The natural aging process of the
wood caused by the tension of the strings, atmospheric
conditions and playing use can cause the instrument to need
significant adjustment. Most music stores are unconcerned
with these changes and leave the buyer wondering if the
instrument is defective. We at Uncle Jon's Music want our
customers to learn to keep their guitars properly maintained
and adjusted. So we instituted a service plan to help the
customer understand and appreciate the need for periodic
maintenance and adjustment.
Every full-size guitar purchased from us comes with the Uncle
Jon's Music Pro-Guitar Maintenance Plan for one year from the
date of purchase. This plan is at no cost to the customer
except the cost of strings on the second, third and fourth
visit. The cost of services provided in this plan are
normally about $120. It has been our experience that this
plan will provide you with the necessary maintenance and
adjustment to keep your guitar at the level of optimal
performance. The Pro-Guitar Maintenance Plan includes the
following:
* Three Month Service - We do a thorough cleaning and
conditioning of the fret board, install a new set of strings
(strings free), set-up the guitar which includes adjusting
the neck action, saddle height, tremolo system, intonation
and pick up height. We also do an electronics inspection,
cleaning and adjustment if needed.
* Six, Nine and Twelve month Service - We do a thorough
cleaning and conditioning of the fret board, install a new
set of strings, (strings not free), and any adjustments
needed.
Upon completion of the Pro-Guitar Maintenance Plan we are
happy to continue maintenance and adjustment if desired at a
reasonable cost. We are always available to answer questions
about the care and maintenance of your instrument and give
free electronic tuning for as long as you own the guitar.
Additionally, we do repairs, modifications, and custom work.
