Private Lesson Policies as of 3/1/2022

Lesson Schedule

Lessons are contracted by monthly subscription which reserves a weekly lesson time for you.  You may choose a 30 or 60 minute lesson time slot, subject to instructor availability.

An alternate option is to sign up for a single lesson or fixed amount of lessons.  You can choose specific dates and times based on the instructor’s availability but not on a regular recurring basis.  Payment for the lesson(s) is due at time of scheduling.   

Payment and Tuition Fee

Regular recurring lessons are to be paid via credit or debit card and will automatically be charged on the first of each month.  The first payment is to be made upon scheduling in order to reserve your time slot. 

Tuition fee as of 3/1/2022 is $120/month.

There will be several months that have a 5th lesson, we use this extra lesson to make up for those with only 3 when the store is closed for holidays and your vacation or illness should you need it.

Missed lessons

There are no credits, refunds, or makeups for missed lessons.  The instructor has the time reserved for you.  We can do a virtual lesson or video lesson if you are unable to attend due to illness, weather, or other circumstances.  Let the instructor know as soon as possible if you want to take this option.  If you are ill or can not make your lesson due to an emergency, please contact your teacher and if scheduling permits they will reschedule your lesson during the same week as a courtesy.

If an instructor has to miss due to illness or other reason a suitable substitute will be provided during your regular time or the instructor will offer to reschedule.  

Discontinuing Lessons

You may cancel your subscription by emailing us at lessons@unclejonsmusic.com, at least a week before the next payment date is appreciated.
